Here are answers to the most frequently asked questions that we receive:

Q: You say it’s not about money yet you collect donations. Why?
A: Because running Santa’s websites are not free. We only generate income to cover Santa’s expenses. The rest is given to Santa’s Sleigh, a charitable effort to assist families in need at Christmas.

Q: What becomes of the letters my kids write to Santa?
A: They go to Santa Claus. He reads each one. Many of the site features and even story lines pursued on our websites come from minds of the kids.

Q: Can I get a copy of what my child sent to Santa?
A: Sorry, we cannot by law collect or use identifiable information associated with children — and we don’t. This makes all of Santa’s mail one way — he can receive it, but he cannot write back. Plus he gets millions of messages each year. Without any identifying data there is no way to tell which message actually came from your child. Santa knows — but that’s about it.

Q: Can I get a copy of the voice messages my child left for Santa?
A: Maybe. Click here. Santa understands why this might become a treasured keepsake. If he can find it he will send it to you — free of charge, of course.

Q: Your Santa stuff is the best. Can I buy a letter from Santa from you?
A: Sorry, no. We sell nothing. Santa is free and always will be. While we cannot fulfill every special request, Santa will if he is able. The closer to Christmas it is, the harder it is for him to do so. You can tell us about your special need by clicking here.
